Winter Freeze

Camping with the guys

These are the pictures of our winter freeze trip for 2005. We got real lucky as it wasn't too cold, only got down to around 30 degrees. Sure beats three years ago when we woke up to 18 degrees! Had a nice hike to Black Rock and Annapolis Rock. Then a nice supper of fresh made stew with a cherry cobbler for dessert. Sure was good around the campfire, if that is what you want to call the inferno that we built! Already looking forward to next year...

The spring at Annapolis Rock, flowing strong! Back to Pine Knob shelter to prepare for the evening Now that's fire! Maybe too much!
Cherry cobbler baking next to fire. Goodbye cook kit! Ohoo, doesn't that look good on a chilly night? Matt and Darren digging into the cherry cobbler.
